Tekno RC wins at JBRL Nitro Series Round 3

Latest race news from Tekno RC:

Travis Amezcua continues to light up the track with his Tekno RC equipped Mugen MBX6 electric buggy. The setting was an unusually cold and windy day at ARC Raceway in Temecula with random hail storms thrown in for good measure. The competition was fierce as usual, with the likes of Dylan Rodriguez and Jeremy Kortz in the pack. Travis took the TQ and the early lead in the main. A couple incidents with lapped traffic cost Travis the top spot at one point in the race. He was able to battle back up to the lead due to the consistency and balance of the Tekno chassis and take the win.

8 of 14 buggies in the A main were equipped with Tekno V3 brushless kits. Young star Carson Wernimont took 4th place. It was Carson’s first time on the track with an electric buggy (Tekno/Kyosho MP9). In addition, 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th, 11th, and 14th places were all running Tekno equipment. Great job everyone, we’ll see you @ Rnd 4 in Hesperia.
