Tekno RC Wins Pro Electric 1/8th Class at Silver State Challenge

Tekno RC Wins Pro Electric 1/8th Class at Silver State Challenge

Latest race news from Tekno RC:

Tekno RC chassis conversions score another #1 podium spot in the Pro Electric 1/8th class. This time it was at the Silver State Challenge – different track, different day, same result. Travis Amezcua put in another incredible run with his Tekno equipped Mugen MBX6 buggy. Starting 3rd on the grid, he followed TQ Josh Wheeler closely all race. One mistake by Josh in the treacherous whoops section gave Travis a pass opportunity. Travis held on and brought home the win in the 10 minute main event to become the Silver State Challenge Pro Electric 1/8th Champ. Bobby Tillman (Tekno/Mugen) and Tyler Vik (Tekno/Kyosho) placed 6th and 7th respectively. That’s 3 of the top 10 spots. Also, in the Open Buggy class, Pres Ilog brought home the win in his Hot Bodies D8 buggy. Pres was rocking the Tekno RC LCG chassis and front and rear Tekno RC CNC shock towers. He almost completed the buggy/truggy sweep, but got caught for 2nd in Open Truggy. His truggy was also equipped with the Tekno RC LCG chassis and CNC shock towers. Congrats Pres! Tekno RC was a proud sponsor of this year’s event and would like to see the class continue to grow. Thanks to all that made it possible and we hope to see you all there next year!
