Travis Amezcua, Mugen, & Tekno RC win Pro 1/8 Electric Buggy class @ Nitro Challenge

Latest race news from Tekno RC:

Tekno RC chassis conversions have put a driver on the #1 podium spot in the Electric 1/8th class at Nitro Challenge 2 years running. This year, Travis Amezcua was running a Tekno equipped Mugen MBX6. Starting 4th on the grid while going through the 12-pack, Travis was hit early and had to battle from the back of the pack. He passed all others including recent Hot Bodies team mate Jessie Robbers in the 10 minute main event to become the Nitro Challenge Electric 1/8th Champ. Bobby Tillman (Tekno/Mugen) and Tyler Vik (Tekno/Kyosho) placed 4th and 5th respectively. That’s 3 of the top 5 spots. Drew Moller (Tekno/Mugen) placed 9th. Tekno RC was a proud sponsor of this year’s event and would like to see the class continue to grow. Thanks to all that made it possible and we hope to see you all there next year!
