Latest race news from Hot Bodies:Jesse Robbers wins buggy using HB’s all new tires!

Ve8 – Electric 1/8 Class

In the electric 1/8 class Jesse qualified 2nd, finished 1st! Even with electronic problems plaguing him all weekend Jesse was able to hold onto his lead and go on to win the race.

D8T – Nitro Truggy Class

In nitro truck Jesse qualified 2nd and finished 2nd about 10 seconds or so behind leader. Jesse had this to say, “Maifield and I were same speed or possibly Maifield slightly faster”.

In the main event Jesse came out in the top 3 along with Jared Tebo and Ryan Maifield, but lapped traffic proved to be a big problem with seemingly biased actions. With Mayfield out front and Tebo back in the third spot, Jesse was able to close in on Mayfield in the middle of the race but there was just not enough time to close the deal and Jesse settled for 2nd spot on the podium. Jesse had this to say “I drove too hard and I think I made some small mistakes too often that off-set additional speed I gained by driving harder. I also had problems with pit stops.”

D8 – Nitro Buggy

In nitro buggy Jesse Qualified 3rd and finished 1st, “I had 2 laps or so on 2nd position!” For qualifying Jesse and Ryan Maifield traded 1st position several times. In the main Jesse was able to drive better pace/average lap time and less mistakes so made a big gap to Maifield in 2nd position. Good clean driving combined with good clean pit stops made for an easy win, congratulations Jesse Robbers!

HB – Tires

Quite a few non HB drivers were spotted using HB Megabite tires, in both buggy and truggy. Jesse used HB tires all weekend and proved they can win over all the established tire companies!
