Today was an awesome first day of the show. There were quite a few new products that caught our eye. And, I am always overwhelmed by how big the Nurnberg Toy Fair is. This year over 110 countries are expected to be represented. The show claims that over 80,000 people visit Nurnberg annually. That’s enough to fill a professional football stadium. 10,000 new products are on display, which indicates that technology marches to it’s own pace. We’ll focus on more of those new products tomorrow and highlight some of the culture from Germany. So far, I am a big fan of the ARX Racing dirtbike. I’ve always said, “if someone can produce a good dirtbike that works, it will be the next big thing.” We’re going to hit the sack, as it’s 1:30am in morning. Joe and I are beat, but we’ll be back tomorrow with more videos, photos, and coverage of the show.

It’s been really amazing here in Germany so far. The center of town, “Old Nuremberg”, is just across the street from our hotel. It is surrounded by a wall that was used to protect the city. Jason and I headed over to a small pizza place last night to grab a quick bite before coming back to the hotel to edit. It was a small place, but very comfortable. The people here in town seem much more relaxed than back in the U.S. Although I can’t understand German, I still have a feeling of being at home.
We will be heading back into town this morning to film a segment of The Radio Control Show. From there we will head back over to the Toy Fair to film a ton of new products that I will be posting later on later on.

Like Joe mentioned, we’ll be filming a spot for The Radio Control Show in downtown Nurnberg. After filming some of the culture we’ll focus solely on the hot, new products at the show. You can view our slide show under the video player or check out images of the new products in our Hot News, And New Stuff forum. Click here to check out the new products.

We went into town this morning to shoot The Radio Control Show segment on Nuremberg. The streets were crowded and entertainers occupied almost every corner. Jason and I bumped into a tour guide that may meet up with us tomorrow morning for an interview.
After the fair, we headed to the Opernhaus for dinner with Proline, Novak, and Axial. As you can see above, there were some locals having a great time singing and dancing. From there, we took a stroll through the elusive “Red Light District” before heading back to our room to edit more photos and videos.
Tomorrow we will be heading over to hall 11.1 to see a real life hydrogen car…

We’re shooting lots of miscellaneous videos from the show, but I want your feedback on what products or brands you want to see more of. Tomorrow we’ll shoot footage of a hydrogen-powered RC car, as Joe mentioned, which should be pretty dope. We’ll get some interesting clips of other cool things we spot, but its our last day to get anything you must see, so please reply if you have any requests. Thanks for staying tuned and checking out our video coverage. It’s been really cool putting together the videos.

Hey guys, try to find some booths showing the boat side of things. Maybe Graupner, Krick, Robbe, etc. Thanks!

Can you say how long the wheelbase is of the 1/16 Slash 4WD? How about width?
