The First Annual NitroCross World Championships brought big cash payouts and MX-Style racing action to RC. With 20-lap heads up qualifiers and 30-lap mains, the action was nonstop all weekend. After the dust settled, Jared Tebo won the Invitational Buggy Class main with his production OâDonnell buggy and was awarded $5,000 for his efforts. Thatâs not a misprint â weâre talking some serious cash. Ryan Cavalieri won the Invitational Truggy Class and took home five grand too! Since Associated didnât have a truggy version of the RC8, Cavalieri built a Kyosho ST-RR just for the event and came from behind to take the win. You can check out all the action in a future issue of RCCA.
