Portland, Oregon recently played host to the ROAR 2004 Paved On-road Electric Nationals. The event took place in the Holiday Inn parking lot. The track was wide open with plenty of room for passing. In the end, Atsushi Hara with his Orion powered HPI Pro 4 took TQ and top honors in Touring Car Mod class, and won 1/12-scale Mod as well. Alex Lopez driving a Trinity-powered XRAY won Touring Car Stock. Paul Wynn, piloting a Reedy powered Schumacher Mi2 sedan, took top honors in the 19-turn class. Congratulations to all of the winners in all of the classes. Complete coverage of this event will appear in Car Action Magazine soon.
