A Main Hobbies Announces The 3rd Annual Electric Off-Road Shootout At Outback

A Main Hobbies announces the third annual Outback Raceway Electric Off-Road Shootout, a radio-controlled off-road car racing event to be held at the permanent facility in back of the company’s warehouse at 424 Otterson Dr. Suite 160 Chico, CA. Over 100 entrants from Northern California, Nevada, and beyond are expected for the two-day event, held March 3-4. The event is open to spectators with free admission.

“It’s a lot of fun for us to host special two-day events like this,” said A Main Hobbies’ CEO Kendall Bennett, who will be competing. “The longer schedule draws in racers from outside of the local area who are unable to make our weekly Wednesday night and bi-weekly weekend races, and we’re proud to bring that added level of excitement to our customers in Chico.”

Entrants compete in any combination of nine different divisions, which classify competitors by skill level and car type, and the top three finishers in each category will win A Main Hobbies gift cards. In addition, several thousands of dollars in product will also be given away in a raffle that is open to both racers and spectators.

“R/C car racing is a unique, competitive hobby that is exciting for drivers of all ages and ability levels, and the atmosphere at our facility is very family friendly,” said Bennett. “We hope to attract a large crowd to watch some free racing action and give away some really great gear. You never know; you just might get hooked on the fun!”

Racing action on both days begins at 10 AM and will run into the late afternoon. For more information on A Main Hobbies’ Outback Raceway, visit www.outbackraceway.com
