Troy Paluchniak of LargeScaleRC.com gives us a quick tour of the Shop facility and inventory! This place is loaded to the brim with goodies. If you are coming to the ScrapYard to participate in the Power Jam event this weekend, you can be confident all the parts you will ever need will be on hand and in stock! We made a video for you to see what we are talking about.

We just shot some footage of the competition off-road track. There are quite a few guys out testing and tuning their cars for 2wd and 4wd. We will upload the footage now, it should be available for viewing shortly. The track was in a dry state, we are looking forward to seeing what these guys can do with a wet track! The new MCD RRv4 is here and tearing up the track. The 4wd seems to work quite well. More to come on that in the near future.

We arrived at the track this morning to discover the area had been hit with a fairly big storm. We are in a holding pattern to see what is going to happen with the weather. The team is working on the track and the competitors are working on their cars. Meanwhile we caught up with Bob from Axis RC who showed us his ultimate baja stand, and the Outerwears guys who chatted with us briefly. Videos are uploading now! OH, and we managed to see a large scale AirBoat hitting the oval, now we have to show you that so that video is also uploading. Stay tuned for more info!

It has been quite a day. The weather showed a 70% chance of rain yet managed to miss us for most of the day. The tracks were tuned up and are ready for tomorrows off road racing and oval mains. Todays events included some incredible Scale Tractor pulling put on by the guys at WWPA (Weed Wackers Pulling Association) Some of these machines were detailed to the nth degree, and had more horsepower than your daily driver 🙂 Be sure and have a look at the slideshow to see some of their amazing work. We have just uploaded videos from the days action. Now we are all off to enjoy the concert from the Gary Jeffries Band. More to come!

Sunday was an incredible day at the Large Scale RC “Scrap Yard”. The PowerJam 2010 event is now in the books. After a night of intense thunder storms, a Tornado and around an inch of rain, the staff at Large Scale RC worked extremely hard to get the tracks in running order. We were able to get underway by 11:00 AM on the dot. The tracks ended up retaining moisture and delivering incredible fun to all who attended. We are uploading videos as we speak. Look for more in depth coverage from RC Car Action in the near future!
