Things went smoothly today as we started early qualifying. About 80 of the 230 racing entries qualified today. Friday’s plans are to get the rest of the field qualifiied and then end the day with sled pulling.

There were 280 entries this year that competed in racing, freestyle, show and shine/concourse, longjump and sled pulling.
The weather forecast for the event showed chance of showers on both Friday and Saturday, but other than a light shower on Friday morning, the weather was beautiful.
In addition to all of the competition, Dennis Anderson, HPI Racing’s John Schultz and the No Limit crew kept it interesting by have a mud pit dash (gotta see those pics) prize giveaways and interviews with the racers and sponsors on hand.
The number 1 mission was to have a fun time and meet and greet folks that gather religiously for the monster truck world finals.
There was well over $10,000 in prizes awarded courtesy of HPI Racing (top sponsor the the 5th straight year), SMC, Pro-Line, Max Amps, Outlaw Hobby, SPI Racing wheels, Parma, Sidewinder fuel, Spektrum, GH Racing, Blue Groove, Extreme RC Mods, Xtreme Racing,Buku Power, HPI Savage Forum, xxx main The Crawling Store, and Axial racing. to be continued.
