Jason Orlando of Stafford, Virginia is the very first person to send in pics of their Traxxas Slash and he wasted no time in modifying it. The body was modeled after Johnny Greaves’ full-size Monster Energy CORR truck. The full size truck is powered by a Toyota engine and Jason setup his truck with a Team Orion 17-turn Formula SV2 Pro BB motor and a 7-cell NiMH battery pack. The shocks have been upgraded with Traxxas aluminum caps and thicker oil to stiffen up the suspension a little bit. He also upgraded the steering bell crank to the red aluminum version for more precise and durable steering.
Brill nicely done, will have to choose another paint scheme, did you just have the outside painted or do my cousin's across the pond get an clear shell to paint . Have looked everywhere for a clear shell . No one does one as yet in thiscountry cheer's Nick.
