I know the haters will be crying "re-hash" and "Duracrap" over this one.
I've owned in the range of 200 RC cars over the past 16 years. Duratrax, while not the greatest, has always been reliable. This one looks like a hoot for a spec class race in the backyard with a couple of buddies and beers. With a street price that's going to be in the $200-ish range, you can't go wrong. Not to mention that the body actually looks DECENT!

@ Traxxaskid...
Traxxas stuff is nice, but there are other products out there. The E-Savage is not the Flux. The Flux is an absolute bullet-proof terror. I've owned that as well as an E-Revo converted to MMM. The T-Maxx is tough, but it is pretty dated technology (the same could be said about the Savage). The Flux is pretty much useless on 6S LiPo. It won't stay shiny side up and doing backflips gets old reeeeeeeeeeeal quick. 4s LiPo is more than plenty and will put you into the 40mph range.
If you like Traxxas so much, stick to it, otherwise explore your options. I'd save your money and buy a nice condition used HPI Baja 5B.

6s lipo is the only way when you need the power its there and when you dont just use the usb cord and tune your flux or e revo brushless to handle the power accordingly i own both e revo converted to mamba monster and the flux both have plus and minuses flux is the bashers champion but e revo is the track champion get both you wont regret it

traxxaskid22-
HPI makes great products like Traxxas does. If you are talking the 3905 E-Maxx vs. the E-Savage, I'd say stick with the E-maxx. Otherwise, Brushless E-Maxx vs. Savage Flux, that's a toss up IMO. The Savage is a beast, and tough enough to take. The E-maxx (I own one with Novak HV 4.5 system) seems to have its strengths and weaknesses too. I agree with the 4S Lipo business. Sure you can tune your settings down, but why pay the extra $$$ for 6S when you can save and buy 4S...
