wow, that thing looks WAY more planted than the slash. if i were racing in an open CORR class, i would rather have the losi strike than any other CORR truck out there so far.

traxxas really! really! sucks! slash and slayer that is.
they are very unstable, very sloppy without swaybars.
if it wasn't for t-maxx or revo they would be lower on the
pole.high speed turns are out of the question.

i agree swaybars for the slash are a necessary upgrade. but the slash is awesome and waterproof at an awesome price

i raced a slash this season stock. i changed the shock oil and the shock sprig shims and thats it. i can lay down faster lap times with the slash over any other off road class. i just raced my stike fore the first time on a clay track and i'm not impressed with it right out of the box. however, i made some ride hight adjustments and some rear camber adjustments and the truck started to dial in. i'll bet with some more suspension tuning and maybe diff oil experimentation, i will be able to match my slash lap times. any other racers have input on the strike out of the box? have fun!

I love the slash all the way with the front sway bar its way less prone to roll overs. the new 4x4 slash looks way better too looks way more planted

I raced Slash for a bit and loved it, have raced Strike three times now and its going in the trash can. I have tried most available tweeks out of the box and it just is not driveable. Add to that the rediculous engineering mistakes like the shocks rubbing the motor cover, and having to take the shock off to remove the motor cover. People at the track have been breaking the Strike left and right too, cheap turnbuckles, cheap skid plates that cant take impact and are part of the chassis structure.

Buy the Blitz that thing is much faster around the track, out of the box it beats everything on the field with no tweeks and stock tires. It makes first time SC drivers look like pros compared with the Slash or Strike. Strike with Goose bumps, bowties, its all the same. Junk handling at speed.

I am not sure my above comment covered it clearly enough so I will just add, please for the love of all that is decent, save your money and avoid the Strike. The slash is way better for beginners, more fun, more durable, more drivable. You can win with the slash with practice, a few mods, and some setup work. If you want to win races out of the box, try the Blitz or SC10.

The Outlaw TRAXXAS Slash Chassis looks better by a long shot. Get ready SC10 drivers... the TRAXXAS Slash & Losi Strike mean business in the modified class!
